Toddlers are wildly unpredictable little people. They’re so cute, but they can be temperamental, devious, wild, and downright naughty. Anyone who’s ever parented a toddler knows just how chaotic they often are. And one mom on TikTok is sharing proof of just how wild a 2-year-old in particular can be.
She shared a series of videos showing the aftermath of her toddler cutting chunks of her hair while she slept. And if the impromptu haircut wasn’t enough, her kiddo decided to add some glue just to really make it special. The results will have you thanking the universe it wasn’t your kid.

The mom was in a state of shock.
Mom Sarah Kafaji shared a video of her having an absolute panic after her 2-year-old son cut her hair while she slept.
She is in her bathroom surveying the damage, and it’s not pretty. It looks like her son cut the sides the most, as she keeps pulling them out to examine them. You can hear the sheer disbelief she has while she is trying to make sense of what to do next.
There was another surprise.
Most of the video is just her on the verge of crying or mumbling to herself, but then she makes a shocking realization: There’s glue in her hair.
“I can’t get these things out of my f—ing hair,” she said, pulling on a knot of hair at the top of her head. It’s hard to tell what the items are, but they look like cylinders. “I’ve tried olive oil, coconut oil, acetone,” she said, clearly ready to cry.

Many people swore this was another prime example of why they remain child-free.
“My cat would never,” one person wrote.
“This app is giving me confirmation every day that child free is the lifestyle for me,” another added.
Someone else wrote, “Okay, you’re right, I don’t need kids.”
“This was the cherry on top of my not EVER having kids cake,” another person commented.
One person wrote: “‘Wdym you don’t want kids?!’ 🫥this this is why. Because I do not have the patience or energy.”
Many people also begged to tag the “girl with the list,” which is a TikTok account that lists reasons why people choose not to have kids.
Many of the comments were supportive.
“Drop your Venmo and we’ll help get that hair fixed babes,” a commenter offered.
Someone else wrote: “Omg, I would’ve woke up in a panic..I am so sorry this happened! I honestly would just cut the rest & order a wig until it grows back. He probably thought he was doing an Amazing job.”
“Omg I’m so sorry mama! 🥺,” a comment reads. “You must’ve been so tired 🥺.”
“They can be sneaky quiet sometimes!” another person noted. “My son colored my whole face and arm with red permanent marker n I had to be to work in 3 hours. I feel for you girl fr fr.”
Someone else offered words of encouragement: “You are gorgeous regardless I know you will slay with short hair.”
Someone did offer to step in and help.
Sarah lives in Texas, but a hairstylist in North Carolina commented, offering to help her with her hair if she could travel.
She shared a few updates showing that she was able to get several of the items out of her hair (they were eyelash glue brushes) and was able to brush parts of it.
