Finding a bargain on a wedding gown or accessories takes some savvy, but plenty of brides have it and aren’t afraid to share their secrets. Time and again, TikTok has proven to be the place to find the best stories. A bride-to-be named Davis Bourgeois wanted the perfect wedding shoes and captured the moment she saw the bargain of a lifetime on camera.
Bourgeois loves a good bargain and is an avid thrifter. She recently thrifted a pair of designer shoes for her wedding for a price that would make Carrie Bradshaw shake in her Manolo Blahniks! This one is too good to miss.

Bourgeois found her exact dream shoes.
She posted on her TikTok, @davvvisss, sharing a video of her walking through a thrift store “freaking out.” Bourgeois found a pair of white “wedding shoes” for $10. She tried them on, and they were a perfect fit. She snagged the Gabriela Hearst mules and headed to the checkout as fast as her Crocs could take her.
She shared screenshots of shoes just like them that she'd planned to purchase secondhand.
Bourgeois explained that she had already planned to purchase the exact shoes from a resale shop for more than $500. She posted screenshots to prove that her bargain find was truly a dream come true. Bourgeois said Gabriela Hearst items typically cost more than $1,000.
She whispered to the camera, “They’re going to match my wedding dress perfectly. Perfectly!”
Bourgeois wasn't even looking for shoes that day.
She told Newsweek it was as if the shoes appeared out of nowhere.
“I went in looking for a mirror for my bathroom,” Bourgeois explained. “I was actually trying to get to the front to check out, so I cut through one of the clothing aisles and I accidentally knocked a sweater off the hanger, and when I went to hang it back up they were sitting on top of the rack just staring at me,” she said. “I saw the logo and the $10 price tag, said a prayer, and put them on.”
Her incredible find made TikTokers so excited.
Her video racked up more than 520,000 views, and fashion enthusiasts can’t believe what Bourgeois found. This person thought Bourgeois made the shoes appear through sheer will, and commented, “You manifested your wedding shoes babe!! So amazing.”
And this one loved the moment and wrote, “Excited for you!!! Thrift win!!! Us thrift girlies get it!!!” So did this person who commented, “That is SO exciting, what an absolute thrill.”

The shoes are just the latest detail in her incredible wedding story.
In March 2024, Bourgeois went viral on TikTok after posting a video she recorded two hours before her fiancé, Sam, proposed. At that moment, she was still his girlfriend, but she had a gut feeling something bigger was coming.
The sweet video garnered 3.5 million views, and a few months later, seeing her find the perfect shoes made it an incredible full-circle moment.
