Kylie Jenner Admits Changes to Her Body While Pregnant Were ‘Shocking’ To See at Age 19

At 27 years old, Kylie Jenner is now an experienced mom of two who is familiar with the challenges that come with being pregnant and postpartum. But when she was a teenager and expecting her first child, Stormi Webster, with ex Travis Scott, pregnancy came with a lot of unknowns. In fact, as Kylie admitted in a new interview, some of those unknowns were “shocking” to her.

Kylie opened up about this time in her life in a new interview.

When she talked to Elle for the cover story of the November 2024 issue, she admitted to struggling with the way her body looked and changed while she was pregnant with Stormi.

“I got pregnant when I was 19. Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body — all these new stretch marks and things that I didn’t have before,” she said.

She also addressed her postpartum experience.

Kylie said that after Stormi was born, she suffered from postpartum depression.

“I felt like I was on autopilot,” she said.

Earlier this year, Kylie told Vogue that she had experienced PPD after both of her children were born, and after Stormi, it was something she struggled with for about a year.

More recently, she's been spending her time finding herself again.

“I haven’t had a baby in a few years. The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it — not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies,” she told Elle. “It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”

This also means spending less time on social media.

And in turn, that sounds like something she’ll incorporate into her parenting decisions, too, especially as Stormi and Aire get older. If it’s up to her, they’ll both stay off of social media “until they move out of the house.”

“It’s no socials for as long as possible,” she said. “Stormi will come home and she’ll know full TikTok dances. I’m like, ‘Where did you learn this?’”

Through all the ups and downs, Kylie said she has no regrets.

“I have to give my younger self grace,” she said. “I don’t like to have too many regrets in life. I think my path is what got me here today. I’m happy with where I am and just have to keep moving forward.”

Considering that Kylie has built her own cosmetics empire, it’s probably safe to say that she’s doing a great job so far.
