Bride’s Brother Spent 120 hours Making Her Dream Wedding Dress & It Was Jaw-Dropping

Searching for the perfect wedding dress can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. One bride didn't have to go bridal dress shopping in order to have her dream gown for her special day. Instead, her dream dress came to her.

Brooke Jones' brother made her dream dress a reality by designing it with her and making it from scratch. Though Brooke, 30, and her brother Reagen Evans, 28, worked on the design together, Reagen made the dress on his own. Brooke didn't see the final product until a week before her wedding, per BBC.

Brooke's brother Reagen spent about 120 hours making the dress.

Reagen is a couture fashion designer, but he had only made a wedding dress once before, according to BBC. He spent about 120 hours working on Brooke's dress, and although he was "excited" for his sister to see the dress, he also felt that there was more pressure to get it exactly right, he told the outlet.

"There is that element of, 'If this goes wrong, this is my sister’s wedding, and I’m never going to hear the end of it,'" he told BBC.

Luckily, Brooke loved the dress.

Being tasked with creating your sister's wedding dress does seem a bit daunting, but luckily, Brooke was "blown away," she told SWNS. Before revealing the final dress to her, Reagen blindfolded his sister, she told BBC.

She was in love with the dress "as soon as he took the blindfold off."

Brooke saved thousands of dollars on her dress.

The custom wedding dress was also a wedding gift for Brooke, and Reagen covered the costs, per SWNS. Reagen shared a video documenting the process on Instagram, concluding with the moment that Brooke tried the dress on and looked in the mirror.

"The end of this video is why I do what I do — there is no greater currency than emotion and when it’s expressed so overwhelmingly and naturally because of something you have created with your own hands, there is no greater feeling in the entire world!" Reagen wrote in the caption.

He said creating the dress was an 'honor.'

In the Instagram caption, Reagen wrote, "creating this bridal gown for my sister was a really special process."

"It was very emotional," he told BBC. Seeing the dress was also an emotional experience for Brooke. Walking down the aisle in her dream dress was magical.

Other loved ones were 'speechless.'

Brooke told BBC that their loved ones were "speechless" when they saw the dress on her wedding day. Brooke and her now-husband, Alex, tied the knot in August. "The whole day was a dream," she told SWNS.
